Course Objectives
  The Intermediate course is for students who have completed the Elementary and Pre-Intermediate Modules or for those who have a fair knowledge of English. Students would be able to use English for communication quite comfortably; read and understand simple articles or short stories; listen to others carrying out a conversation and participate in a simple discussion or watch English programmes.
Course Outline
  The lessons in this course focus on reading, speaking, listening and writing skills previously acquired and sharpen those skills. Emphasis is placed on fluency and accuracy. The classroom situation courage student to put into use knowledge that they have acquired so that once they are in real situations, communication in English would prove to be an effective way of communication.
Teaching Methodology
  Teachers use lively, interactive methods to teach. Pair work and group work are used in class as well as games and activities to reinforce learning.
Our Teachers
  Our teachers are trained, qualified and experienced in teaching adults and children.
Assessment
  There will be informal periodic assessments by class teachers and an internal written and oral examination at the end of the course. *External examinations (e.g. UCLES) may be arranged.

* An Examination Fee is payable for external examinations.
Duration
  210 hours; 3.5 hours per day.
