English for Foreign Learners ~ Upper-Intermediate ~
Course Objectives
The Upper-Intermediate course is for students who have completed the Elementary and Pre-Intermediate and Intermediate Modules or for those who want to raise their level of proficiency of English to a higher level. This course will give students a thorough revision of the English grammar; increase vocabulary to meet the demands of communication in real life.
Course Outline
The lessons in this course focus on reading, speaking, listening and writing skills, consolidating this competence with activities giving them practice in the other aspects of the course design.
Teaching Methodology
Teachers use lively, interactive methods to teach. Pair work and group work are used in class as well as games and activities to reinforce learning.

Our teachers are trained, qualified and experienced in teaching adults and children.
Assessment
There will be informal periodic assessments by class teachers and an internal written and oral examination at the end of the course. *External examinations (e.g. UCLES) may be arranged.
* An Examination Fee is payable for external examinations.
Duration
210 hours; 3.5 hours per day.
