Ms Cindy Liong
(English Teacher, Hai Sing Catholic Secondary School) |
“The Asian School of Education has been conducting “The Wealth in Writing Workshop” course for the weaker pupils in Secondary 5 Normal Academic since January 2004. The course is helpful for students who have short-attention span. The students are always actively engaged in hands-on activities during lessons. They have expressed that the hands-on activities are beneficial because the activities helped them to focus and facilitated their learning of grammar points, which they would otherwise find boring.
As the English teacher of these students, I have also found that the students make effort to use the skills that were taught to them during the enrichment course. They have thoroughly enjoyed their lessons and their interaction with their trainer and are looking forward to the next session when the school term begins.” |
